About Me

Marcus D. Porter was born in Fort Hood, TX. He spent most of his life in Dothan, AL. He is the CEO and Founder of Marcus D. Porter, Enterprises, LLC. Marcus and his wife, Courtney, started a Christian clothing line called "Isaiah5589" which is the underlining message of GPOV.

Taking It 2 The Streets

It is a way to give back to the community through inspirational speaking, educational development, and mentorship programs. The purpose is to uplift, encourage, and serve in our communities while being a positive role model to our youth and families.


Marcus shares his powerful story of how he began battling with addictions as a youth and the steps he took to overcome them as an adult. 

Community Projects

Marcus conducts positive social experiments and creative community projects to bring about change. He passes out blessing bags, conduct street interviews, and partner with organizations to help with community needs. 

School Sessions

Marcus knows how to relate to students who battle with different challenges. He speaks on topics like: Suicide & Depression, The Importance of Education, Finding Your Identity, Unity over Violence, I Just Wanna Be Successful 

Church Workshops

Marcus understands how important the youth are to the progression of the church. He shows churches creative ways on how to bridge the gap between church and community. He teaches effective strategies on how to build and maintain relationships with the youth. Some topics include: Rebuilding Brokenness, Rebuilding our Youth, and How to Unlock GPOV.

When you are not aware of your identity, it can lead to depression, pornography, alcohol, gangs, and suicide. He will help young people discover their true potential and learn how to push through these hardships and difficult times.

Joseph Wilson is a Motivational Speaker with a deep passion to reach young people where they are and help them to reach their goals. Joseph has spent over 5 years working with youth and children as a church youth program director, youth outreach events coordinator, after school learning facilitator, mentor, and a friend. He has organized and coordinated various community outreach initiatives in the Memphis area, such as youth weekends, socials, days of service, state side mission trips, and community cleanups. He believes that meeting the needs of the people in the community builds solid relationships and brings people together.

ReJena is currently a graduate student at the University of Memphis pursuing her Master’s in Counseling. She received her Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology from Oakwood University in Huntsville, Alabama. She has a passion for total health and wellness, encouraging avidly the health message and desiring to teach others how to care not only for their physical health but mental and emotional health as well. She truly hopes to support and teach young women to recognize the priceless value of who they are. She plans to start rites of passage seminars, professional development sessions and diet, exercise, and etiquette classes for young women.
